Since starting Goldstein Capital (GCC) in 1995, Paul has been GCC's President and Chief Investment Officer. He has specialized in high quality bonds for over 30 years. Paul is actively involved in managing all of GCC's client portfolios. These include traditional, leveraged and hedged bond portfolios.
Paul demonstrated his strength as a portfolio and risk manager, successfully managing GCC's hedge fund through the financial crises of 1998 and 2008, which were extremely challenging for a mortgage-backed security (MBS) focused hedge fund.
Prior to forming GCC, Paul spent nine years as an institutional bond salesman at Kidder Peabody & Co. and one year in the investment group at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Paul has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BS in engineering from Boston University.
